This report provides a 2023 update to PIANC’s foundational climate science report for the waterborne transport sector. It provides updated design-relevant climate projections, including sea-level rise, wave action, storm surge, ocean acidification, and morphological change.^[1]

This framework provides the methodology for climate adaptation planning in ports and inland waterways—an end-to-end design process framework with port-specific templates in Annexes 1A, 2A, 3, and 4 that practitioners can apply directly.^[2]
